Born in Cold Water

The Pacific Northwest is one of the most breathtaking places in the world to dive — cold, wild, and teeming with life that most people never get to see. Beneath the steel-grey surface lies a world of swaying kelp forests, jewel-toned nudibranchs, lingcod lurking in the shadows, and giant Pacific octopus tucked into rocky crevices. It's dramatic, it's otherworldly, and it's right here on our doorstep.

Dive Nudi exists to help you find it.

We started with a simple but deeply felt mission: keep people diving. The PNW is extraordinary, but it can also be humbling. Cold water, low visibility days, strong currents, and unfamiliar terrain make these waters unlike anywhere else — and that can make it hard for newly certified divers to feel confident getting in after earning their open water card. Too many people finish their certification fired up and ready to explore, only to find themselves without a buddy, unsure of local sites, and slowly drifting away from the sport they fell in love with. We wanted to change that.

Dive Nudi is the bridge between certification and confidence. We're here to walk alongside you — or swim alongside you, as it were — as you build your skills, get comfortable in the conditions, and start to feel at home in these waters.

Whether you're a fresh open water diver taking your first post-cert plunge, a local diver who's always wanted to explore a particular site but wasn't sure how to approach it, or a traveler passing through who refuses to leave the PNW without seeing what's beneath the surface — there's a place for you here. Our community dives bring local divers together, giving you a chance to meet your future dive buddies and become part of a community that's as passionate about this place as you are. Our one-on-one dives offer personalized, focused attention so you can move at your own pace and build skills in a way that actually sticks. And our private group dives are perfect for friends, families, or groups who want a shared adventure tailored entirely to them.

One of the things we care most about is familiarity. The best dive is one where you feel prepared — where you know the entry and exit, understand the currents, and have a mental map of what's waiting for you below. That's why we love taking divers to a site for the first time as a guided experience. When you come back on your own, you come back with confidence. You come back ready.

Above all, we are caretakers of this place. The Pacific Northwest coast is a gift — fragile, irreplaceable, and endlessly generous to those who treat it with respect. We dive with intention, we leave nothing behind, and we talk about the importance of ocean stewardship on every trip. The kelp forests, the rocky reefs, the creatures that call these waters home — they deserve to be here for the next generation of divers to discover, just as we were lucky enough to discover them.

This is our corner of the world. We're proud, protective, and endlessly in awe of it.

Come see what we mean. The water's cold, the visibility might surprise you, and we promise — it's worth every bit of it.
